A loading ramp is an auxiliary loading and unloading equipment used to connect the truck compartment and the warehouse platform. By adjusting the height difference, it allows forklifts, trolleys and other handling tools to smoothly enter and exit the truck, thereby improving the efficiency of cargo loading and unloading. It is widely used in logistics warehousing, factories, docks and other scenarios.

Common types include:

● Fixed boarding ramp: fixedly installed on the edge of the platform, suitable for fixed loading and unloading points, with a large height adjustment range and strong load-bearing capacity

● Mobile loading ramp: with casters or traction device, can be flexibly moved, suitable for temporary or multiple loading and unloading points, no fixed installation required. Lifted by manual pump, suitable for factory areas, docks, and other scenes.

● Electric loading ramp: powered by electricity, solving the problem that customers worry about the trouble of lifting back and forth).

The following factors should be considered:

● Loading and unloading scenarios: Select the fixed type for fixed platforms and the mobile type for mobile scenarios.

● Truck type: Common vehicle compartment height (approximately 1.2-1.5 meters in China), the adjustment range of the ramp needs to cover the target height difference.

● Loading requirements: Select the corresponding tonnage (such as 6 tons, 10 tons, 12 tons, etc.) according to the handling tool (such as the weight of the forklift itself plus the weight of the cargo).

● Environmental requirements: indoor and outdoor, anti-slip, corrosion-resistant and other special requirements (such as galvanized materials required in the chemical industry).

No need to fix it usually, the chains on both sides of the tongue are tied to the sides of the car, and the tire block is placed behind the tire when in use to ensure the stability of the equipment during loading and unloading. The dock leveler is equipped with a traction device and can be moved by a forklift or tractor.

Before use:

check whether the hydraulic oil level, anti-skid net on the table and guardrail are intact, confirm that the truck is parked in place and the pressure is released, fasten the chain and secure the tires.

Lifting operation:

● Manual hydraulic / electric type: Press the lifting button / manual hydraulic hand pump, slowly adjust it to be flush with the floor of the car, so that the tongue plate falls on the car, (remember to remove the pressure of the hand pump), fasten the chain on both sides of the car, fix the tire and put the blocking block, swing the legs to 5-10 cm off the ground, lower the tailgate, and start working.

● During loading and unloading: Do not overload, try to keep driving in a straight line, do not turn around or change direction

● After use: lower to the lowest position, cut off the power supply (electric model), and clean up the debris on the table.

Fixed type: The common adjustment range is +400mm up and -300mm down, which needs to be selected according to actual needs

Mobile type: Adjustment range: 1100-1800mm, which needs to be selected according to actual needs.

Warning signs: indicate load limits, operating procedures and safety precautions.

Guardrails: Guardrails are installed on both sides of the countertop to prevent people from falling or goods from sliding.

Anti-slip surface: The table top is made of iron plate + anti-slip diamond mesh/hollow steel grating to improve the driving safety of handling tools.

Hand-cranked outriggers: When using the boarding ramp, it is recommended to crank the outriggers to 5-10 cm from the ground. This will serve as an auxiliary support if the tongue of the boarding ramp accidentally falls off.
